Republican Liberty Caucus of Florida Endorses Alex Newman Campaign

DAYTONA BEACH–The Republican Liberty Caucus of Florida, a key political organization active at every level in Republican politics, announced today that it was endorsing liberty-minded GOP candidate Alex Newman for State House District 28.

“After interviewing Alex Newman, we were impressed with his work experiences, plan of action for the campaign and his stand on Liberty issues,” said the RLC of Florida in its announcement. “We look forward to working with Alex in the new Legislative year in securing a smaller, Constitutional government, free enterprise and personal liberties for all Floridians.”

The Republican Liberty Caucus, widely known in GOP circles as the “Conscience of the Republican Party,” is dedicated to promoting the ideals of individual liberty, limited government and free market economics within the GOP.

The Daytona Beach Republican Club, a key part of District 28 and the oldest Republican club in Florida, recently affiliated with the RLC of Florida, becoming the Daytona Beach Republican Liberty Caucus. Its grassroots membership is a force to be reckoned with in local and state politics. Its recently departed leader is Newman’s campaign manager.

“What a tremendous honor to be endorsed by the Republican Liberty Caucus of Florida,” Newman said. “This is an organization that stands unwavering in its defense of the principles of liberty. I am thrilled to stand with them and all those whole value freedom as we work together to protect the rights of Floridians from government overreach at every level.”

Newman is running a grassroots campaign against a well-funded incumbent, and he expects to win. The primary election is August 23.
